The bio below was written and updated years ago & most holds true. I am still in Seattle, now past the 10 year mark, in the same home we purchased a few years ago. I still work at the picture place. What's different: I am now married to tibadoh, the Cajun from Idaho, and we have one dog, The Baron. I don't row much anymore, but I still run and eat and drink and make as much time as possible for my friends.

I grew up in Louisiana, then attended and graduated from a university in Utah (International Relations major, primary language=French). I lived in Utah for 5 years before I got out.

I have lived in the Seattle area for 8 years. I have a newfound appreciation for summertime and blue skies. I've acquired a lightbox and many, many frequent-flyer miles to help frequently rediscover why I like life here. I still get nostalgic for my part of the South, but have found a place here that's probably better than anything back home. I seem to be moving past the love-hate relationship I had for years with my adopted hometown. Okay, maybe it was hate-hate.

I live east of Greenlake, but west of the other Lake, in Seattle. I walk/hitchhike/bike/bus the three miles to work where I could officially look at pictures all day. But, really, I do techie work and in the off-hours, I run, I read, I row, I travel, I work out, I go out, I drink, and I love just about anything about food. Food is my passion, my friends are my family. I'm divorced after 9 years of marriage and am the non-custodial parent of two adorable dogs. I don't see them as much as I'd like.

I am in the midst of reinventing The Game Plan (as if I ever really had one of my very own). Apparently this involves buying a house. Again. And agreeing to getting a dog with mi novio who, for the purposes of this exercise, is tibadoh, my cajun from Idaho.
